Themis Foundation’s visit to the Onitsha medium security correction facility, Anambra State, Nigeria. We thank everyone who made this a success, the donors, the volunteers, and friends, the prison wardens, moral supporters, etc. It couldn’t have happened without any of you, you are all important in your own special way. The inmates were ecstatic, as some hadn’t even had access to soaps or toothpaste since the ones we donated during our last visit finished. Each inmate got a bag of toiletries containing the basic things needed to be clean: Toothpaste, Toothbrush, Bathing soap, Washing soap, a pair of bathroom slippers, and bathing sponge, and some boxers. Some of them also received funds from the foundation. There are over 1000 inmates at this facility.
